682 km² of district-scale Cu-Ni-PGE potential in Quebec's Labrador Trough

CUPANI Metals holds a large land position covering 682 square kilometers of favorable geology northeast of Schefferville, Quebec. Our claims encompass the historic Blue Lake deposit and multiple additional Cu-Ni-PGE occurrences across a district that has seen eighty years of sporadic exploration — yet remains largely untested with modern techniques.

District-Scale Opportunity

The project area sits close to the margin of the Superior Craton, where deep crustal faults created pathways for ultramafic magma roughly 1.9 billion years ago — the same geological setting that hosts some of the world's largest Cu-Ni-PGE deposits, including Raglan, Voisey's Bay, and Sudbury.

Regional lake-bottom sediment geochemistry compiled from over 30,000 government assays reveals one of Quebec's strongest coincident copper and nickel anomalies within CUPANI's claim block. This district-scale footprint, combined with known surface mineralization and untested strike length, underpins our exploration thesis: the nine historical lenses at Blue Lake may represent only a fraction of the district's ultimate potential.

2025 Exploration — Building the Foundation

During the 2025 field season, CUPANI completed a comprehensive exploration program across the district:

  • • 90-day mapping and prospecting campaign with three field teams, examining 1,379 sites and collecting 457 assayed samples
  • • State-of-the-art airborne magnetic-electromagnetic survey (TargetEM26 system) covering 4,025 line-kilometres across 363 km²
  • • New mineralization zones discovered that require follow-up
  • • New geological interpretations that will guide future exploration across all zones
  • • Acquisition and upgrade of an exploration-permitted base camp for year-round operations

The Raglan Analogue

Glencore's Raglan Mine, located roughly 700 km northwest of Blue Lake in a comparable geological setting, demonstrates the district-scale potential of this deposit type. Raglan began production in 1997 with initial resources of 22 Mt and has since grown to over 45 Mt — even after processing approximately 23 Mt of ore — through ongoing exploration that continues to discover new lenses. Raglan now hosts more than 140 individual mineralized lenses distributed across 10 zones spanning approximately 70 km of strike length. The parallel is compelling: CUPANI's property contains significant untested strike length across multiple zones, suggesting substantial room for resource growth.
